PBS and the love I have developed over the time

I still remember the days when I first saw it or maybe heard it. I a new immigrant into this new land. At mid 20s with expereince and knowledge that I had already accumulated was sort of brash that nothing could startle me.
But this land even with all my earlier experience still was still too large for me to handle. A jolt this new life brought me. In a word a cultural shock, financial shock and more a personal shock.
And in all those early years found a new I would saw more a mother's creche. A recluse where you sometimes escape the brtality and sometimes madenning normal life to escape to some other world but even better sometimes to bigger things in life. Of life is not only about your food, not even your family, and not even your existence. Where you connect you see how many people have transcendended that boundaries of a selfish humaness to something a bigger things in life.
And it coming from the most Capitalist place i the face of earth, where Adam Smith saw his writings came to full bloom, also giving birth to the certainly one of the most socialist form is anamoly if not blasfameous. Though there are mediums like KPFK, but existance of this organisation is very interesting. Maybe the only thing that connects to it is the adventurousness of thsi soceity. The same that created two richest persons ever in the history as per Forbes. The same that which created the John D. Rockefellers. The Sr Industrialist the richest ever and most influential and to Jr one of the greatest philanthropist.

At a personal level as I recuperated to my self, this creche certainly moved to more of a love and like a child was taken care. From the comforting to educating about this vastly different land it made me more American than most American are. As one fte person said I am more than a born American as I choosed instead of forced upon. From understanding things that stuck really odd like the Afro-American culture (America Beyond the Color Line) to how this land is what is in now like the great movement like Hoover Dam to more mundane stuff as Tupperware(American Experience) to certainly some great works like Ken Burns. To day to events like News Hour to More ImImportant Journalist concepts in Frontline, to science NOVA and Nature

From the sofa of the the Rodney Lane in those long nights of wintery Syracuse day to the seeing some other great American Parks from a bright day it certainly has nurtured my mind and soothed in so many days of wanderings and hopelessness. Gave a purpose to see things that are more than myself.

And I suppose it sort of captures the best thing that I like. Inquisitiveness, history and I suppose most importantly connecting to life which I am connected to but somehow behind my car doors and work cubicle I am sort of obfuscated from. And I suppose it connects me to all of it in the medium that is thoughtful and visual and moving.
